All About Mrs. Spohn

I grew up outside of Harrisburg in a small town, Enola, PA. I gradutaed from East Pennsboro Area High School. I went on to Slippery Rock University where I got my degree in Elementary and Special Education. I started my teaching career at Tuscarora School District in August 2007. I have taught a variety of positions within TSD. I taught IST, math remediation, 4th & 5th grade, Emotional Support, and Learning Support. This is my 2nd year at Chambersburg Area School District.

In October 2008 my husband, Gary, and I got married in Ohio. We have since had 2 children. My daughter, Lilly, is 5 and my son, Blake, is 4. We are a very active family. We enjoy watching and playing all sorts of sports. We enjoy going on hikes and taking family vacations. I am a Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates, Pitt Panthers, and Pittsburgh Penguins fan!! GO PITTSBURGH!!! My husband is on board with all except he's a CUBS fan! BOOOOOO! And he prefers Notre Dame over Pitt! Again, BOOOOOO! :)

I am looking forward to my career here at Chambersburg and all the different people I've got to meet! I love my job and I love working with a variety of students and staff!! :)
