Child Development I
This course will provide an introduction to the study of children and families. Students will also study career opportunities in child development, parenting, prenatal development, pregnancy, and the arrival of a baby. Child Development I is a relevant class to anyone who loves children, aspires to work with children in any capacity, or who wants to become a parent some day.
Students will complete a major project from the following options:
-wear the pregnancy simulator for a school day
-parent the Real Care Baby for a weekend
-research project on a topic of your choice that is relevant to the course
