About Me
I am originally from Western Pennsylvania. I grew up in Leechburg, PA. Leechburg is in the southern corner of Armstrong County and is 33 miles northeast of Pittsburgh. I graduated from Leechburg Area High School in 1998 and attended Slippery Rock University. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education in 2003. While at Slippery Rock, I pre-student taught in Sharon City Schools, Sharon, PA and George Junior Republic Residential Treatment Facility, in Grove City, PA. I student taught in Freeport Area School District. My first teaching job was as a ninth grade learning support teacher at Caesar Rodney High School, in Camden-Wyoming, DE (suburb of Dover, DE). The following year, I was hired by Chambersburg Area School District as the junior high emotional support teacher. I have since moved up to the 11th/12th grade learning support position. In addition to teaching, I also coach football for the Trojans. I currently live in Chambersburg with my wife, Maegen, and two labrador retrievers, Franco (right) and Roxy.
