Honors Research Project Showcase
This year my honors students have worked diligently to research a specific topic in American history and create a presentation that they recorded as a screencast of their findings. They have worked so hard this year starting this project back in October, with most of the instruction happening virtually, and here is a chance to showcase their work to you and others. Below I have some of the projects displayed, not all students wished to share their projects, but those who did are included below to share beyond our classroom. I am so proud of all the work they have accomplished, especially in this new and difficult learning environment.
Autumn Hardsock- Battle of Gettysburg
Aydoli Herrera Lanuza- Assassination of Lincoln
Ellie Kaufman- Compromise of 1850
Ethan Wetherald- Boston Massacre
Hammad Safi- Transcontinental Railroad
Jayeleigh Drake- Boston Tea Party
Logan Keffer- Battle of Gettysburg
Marissa S.- Reconstruction Amendments
Shana Powell- Underground Railroad
If you would like to provide any positive or encouraging feedback to any one of my students please click on the link below. This will take you to a google form you can fill out with your positive and encouraging feedback. I will happily share what you have to say with them! It isn't an easy thing to put your work out there as a 9th grader and I am so proud of those who have chosen to do so. Any encouraging words are welcomed! :)
