Passwords for Databases

Our databases are meant to be used only by CASHS students and faculty.  Thus, you will need a password (and sometimes a username) to access each database.  If you are a CASD student or faculty member, you will be able to click on the heading above ("Passwords for Databases") to access a Google Doc that has the necessary log-in information for each database.  Please do not share this information with those outside of our district.

Each database offers different types of information.  Choose the database that best matches the kind of information you need.

Gale Virtual Reference Library: Offers information about famous authors and works of literature.

Issues and Controversies:  Offers information about both sides of controversial issues.

NoodleTools:  Helps build citations and create online notecards for research.

Salem Press eBooks: Offers access to ebooks about some authors, biographies of historical figures, and career information.

U. S. History in Context:  Offers information about events that happened in American history.

World History in Context:  Offers information about events that happened in world history.
